Summary

1300 m long railway viaduct of prestressed reinforced concrete, with a 30 m long standard span, built with movable scaffolding system. The viaduct crosses an alluvial edge along the Tagus river and it is founded 50 m deep in a high seismic risk zone, forcing the adoption of a complex damping system for horizontal actions.
